The Oracle Commerce Platform optionally integrates with Oracle Commerce Guided Search (formerly called Oracle Endeca Commerce), which is available with or without Experience Manager. You can use these separately purchased applications to add product catalog search features to your Oracle Commerce Platform Web sites. Note that Commerce Service Center does not use Guided Search for searching orders or customer profiles; if your installation includes Commerce Service Center, you can use Guided Search for catalog searches but you are required to set up database full-text search for orders and profiles. Refer to the Architecture Diagram for information on how Guided Search components fit into a multiple application configuration.
