The Site Repository includes the following item types by default:
touchpoint
andsiteConfiguration
– These item types implement the site properties for individual sites. Thetouchpoint
item type implements a core set of properties that are common to all commerce channels, and thesiteConfiguration
subtype adds properties that are specific to Web sites.siteTemplate
– This item type represents a site category. AsiteTemplate
item stores the name and description of a site category, and the ID of theitemMapping
item in the View Mapping Repository that contains the view mappings for the site category.siteGroup
– This item type represents a site group. AsiteGroup
item stores the name of a site group and references to the sites and shareable types (see below) that make up the group.
The default repository definition includes a number of properties for the touchpoint
and siteConfiguration
item types. The core (platform) properties include general properties for specifying a site name and description, the site category, URLs for accessing the site, and so on. Other modules add properties through XML combination. For example, Oracle Commerce Core Commerce adds these properties:
defaultListPriceList
defaultSalePriceList
defaultCatalog
Other applications may add other properties or item types.
You can add properties to the touchpoint
and siteConfiguration
item types that are specific to your environment. For example, Oracle Commerce Reference Store adds a number of Commerce Reference Store-specific properties, such as newProductThresholdDays
for specifying the number of days after being added that a product is considered new.
