This section describes how to establish a new global cluster or add a node to an existing cluster. Global-cluster nodes can be physical machines, or Oracle VM Server for SPARC I/O domains, guest domains, or control domains. A cluster can consist of a combination of any of these node types. Before you start to perform these tasks, ensure that you installed software packages for the Oracle Solaris OS, Oracle Solaris Cluster framework, and other products as described in Installing the Software.
