Check the Integrity of a Storage Domain

You can check the integrity of a Storage Domain when you suspect that the auto‑tier data might be lost or corrupted. You might also be requested by Oracle Customer Support to run an integrity check.
Note: The Oracle FS System automatically runs the integrity check when the system has encountered a Volumes Have Lost Mappings system alert.
  1. Navigate to System > Storage Domains.
  2. Select the Storage Domain on which to run the integrity check.
  3. Select Actions > Verify Storage Domain.
    Result:The Storage Domain status changes to Background Activity.
  4. Click OK.

When the integrity check is complete, the Storage Domain status changes to Normal. You can monitor the process by clicking Tasks on the status bar.

If the verification process that you initiated is taking too long, or if the process impacts system performance, you can cancel the process by selecting Actions > Cancel Verify Storage Domain.
Note: Cancelling the verification process does not affect the system or data.
