- For the component group Handheld Synchronization SIA, added the FINS Mobile Object Manager component, which is new for the current release.
- Added the component group Disconnected Mobile Synchronization (alias MobileSync), which is new for the current release.
MobileSync contains the Mobile Data Extraction component (alias MobileDbXtract), which is new. These four components were moved from the Siebel Remote component group: Database Extract, Parallel Database Extract, Transaction Processor, and Transaction Router. The BatchSync component was moved from the Handheld Synchronization component group.
- For deployments of Siebel Mobile disconnected applications, you must enable the MobileSync component group. Other requirements apply.
- For deployments of Siebel Remote or Siebel Replication Manager, you must enable both Siebel Remote and MobileSync. Other requirements apply.
