Additionally, Software Update CCSIDCONV needs to be downloaded and restored to your machine. It is used later in the process for CCSID conversion.
Note:
The minimum requirement for A73 Direct Migration to E1 is A73 CU 9. Homebuilder conversion requires a minimum of A73 CU 12.You do NOT need to install A738078380 if you are migrating from A73 CU 15 or A73 CU 16. The contents of A738078380 are included in A73 CU 15 and A73 CU 16.
Software Update A732848097 contains updated information for two files (F98888 and F98881) which are used during the Direct Migration process.
Due to the volume of data being copied, the required amount of disk space is double the size of the Business and Common data library plus what is listed in the MTRs for JD Edwards EnterpriseOne 9.2. Failure to acquire enough disk space can cause the migration to fail.
Regardless of hardware, Operating System, or Database platform choices, a certified sizing by our hardware platform partners is highly recommended. This sizing helps assure the new JD Edwards EnterpriseOne environments function at optimal levels.
