Printing the Mass Transfer Report (PMTR)

Purpose: Use this menu option to print the Mass Transfer Detail Report, which displays the RF Mass Transfer transactions that were processed based on the following selection criteria entered on the Mass Transfer Report Screen:

Transaction date range: The report includes RF Mass Transfer transactions that were processed within the specified date range.

Warehouse: The report includes RF Mass Transfer transactions that were processed for the specified warehouse.

Identifying RF Mass Transfer transactions: When you process an RF Mass Transfer transaction, the system creates four transfer records in the Item Transaction History table:

• One record indicates the quantity transferred from the specified From warehouse and location.

• One record indicates the quantity transferred to the intransit location in the From warehouse.

• One record indicates the quantity transferred from the intransit location in the From warehouse.

• One record indicates the quantity transferred to the specified To warehouse and location.

For each record created in the Item Transaction History table for the RF Mass Transfer transaction, the system:

• Updates the Item transaction history batch number field with the next available number from the Item Transaction Batch number assignment value.

• Updates the ID# (Item transaction history ID) field with MASSTRANS, indicating the transfer transaction was processed using the RF Mass Transfer Screen.

• Updates the User ID with the user that processed the RF Mass Transfer transaction.

Which RF Mass Transfer transactions are included on the report? The Mass Transfer report does not include the RF Mass Transfer transactions associated with the intransit location. The report includes only the RF Mass Transfer transactions for the transfer from the specified From warehouse and location and for the transfer to the specified To warehouse and location.

Example: You enter the following information on the Mass Transfer Report Screen:

• From warehouse = 4

• From location = A01

• To warehouse = 5

• To location = PRIMARY

• Item = RF1234

• Quantity = 100

The intransit location defined for warehouse 4 is TRANSIT.
