About Siebel Public Sector eService


Citizens can perform the following tasks, which are available in both Siebel eService and Siebel Public Sector eService:

  • Manage their user profiles.
  • Obtain information about agency programs.
  • Contact the Web site host.
  • Access Twitter to discuss agency programs and with other people.

    For information about performing these tasks, see Using Siebel eService.

Also, citizens can perform the following tasks, which are available in only Siebel Public Sector eService:

  • Determine benefits that might apply to them.
  • Apply for benefits.
  • View information about their cases and update those cases with additional information.
  • Request appointments and appeals for their cases.

This chapter applies to the Siebel Public Sector eService for the Open UI client, and not to the standard-interactivity client. The Open UI client uses the Public Sector Self Service object manager (PSSServiceObjMgr alias) in the Siebel Public Sector component group, while the standard-interactivity client uses the Public Sector eService object manager (PSeServiceObjMgr alias) in the Siebel Public Sector component group.
