About National Identification Numbers

The home page for Siebel eService and Siebel Public Sector eService enables new users to register and provides both anonymous and registered users with links to more information. However, when users register in Siebel Public Sector eService, they must provide a national identification number, such as a U.S. social security number (SSN), as part of the registration process.

By default, Siebel Public Sector eService uses the U.S. social security number as the national identification number in the user registration process. You can use Siebel Tools to configure Siebel Public Sector eService to use a different national identification number for user registration and identification.
