Creating a Custom Import Template

To create a custom import template:

  1. Select Download Template... from the drop-down list.
  2. Select the provision assignments that you want to add to the template. For more information about Provisions, refer to About Provisions.
    • Use the Search field to find a specific provisioning assignment.
    • Expand Roles and Application Instances to view the lists of roles and applications instances.
  3. Click Add column to Selected Columns.
  4. Click OK.
  5. Save the template locally and then open it. By default, the name of the template is Primavera_User_Import_Template.csv.
  6. Enter user information into the following fields:
    • First Name
    • Last Name
    • Email
    • User Name
    • Organization
    • User Type
  7. In the role or application instance fields, enter one of the following inputs to a provisioning assignment field to add that provisioning assignment to the user:
    • Y
    • Yes
    • yes
    • 1
    • true
    • t

    Alternatively, leave the field empty if you do not want to add the provisioning assignment to a user.

  8. Save the template.
  9. Import the users to the table. For more information about importing users to the table, see Importing Users to the Table.
