Linking a Job Category to a Job Definition

  1. Log into Reporting and Analytics as Sys Admin, click Labor Management, and then click Human Resources.
  2. In Human Resources Administration, click Admin, and then click Job Definitions.
  3. Search for and select the appropriate job definition, and then click Edit.
  4. On the General tab, select the Job Category, update the fields as needed, and then click Save.

    Job categories are often assigned at the same time as labor categories. You can use the Labor Category drop-down list at this time. For more information on Labor Categories, see the Labor Category Master section.
