Creating Condiment Prefix Menu Items

  1. In the EMC, select the Enterprise, click Configuration and Menu Item Maintenance.
  2. Insert a new record and name it Prefixes. This is a header menu item record and is used to distinguish the prefixes from other menu items.
  3. Select the Prefixes header record and insert a new record. Enter the prefix (for example, ADD) as the name for the new menu item record.
  4. Double-click the record you created in Step 3, and click Menu Levels Tab.
  5. Select Active on All Levels.
  6. Click Prices and insert a $0 priced record.
  7. Click Save.
  8. Repeat Steps 3 through 7 to create records for the remaining four prefixes.
