Secret Number
At the operator sign-on, you have to enter a secret
number with up to 10 digits in this field if the parameter PIN enforced has
been activated.
The entry of 0 means that you would like to work with a
variable secret number. Every other entry is interpreted as a fixed secret
number by the system. Further information can be found in the chapter Sign-on.
Notes:
- At the sign-on at the background system, the
secret number has to be entered in the field Password.
- The entry of a fixed secret number is also
necessary if you would like to activate the parameter Waiter Pen enforced for a waiter sign-on.
- If you have activated the option Supervisor Key, you should
establish a secret number for security reasons.
