Selection Fields

Via this window, you maintain the selection options which the MICROS Retail OSCAR POS application is to display after a click on the corresponding window.

Examples:

1. In the window Payment Type, different types of payment types are offered for selection in the field Category: Cash, Credit, Cheque, EFT etc.
2. In the window Forms, always, never and keep disabled are offered in the field Update Mode.
3. In the Program Dispatch, languages are offered for selection.

Go to System -> User Interface -> Forms. Enter the name of the form which contains the selection field to be maintained in the field Name (e.g. PaymentType for Payment Type, UiFrame for Forms, Dispatch for Program Dispatch). Select the required language and view the data record via the search function.

Go to Choice Fields by using the button. The already given selection options will be displayed. Make new or delete existing entries. Save your entries.

Attention!

• New entries should be limited to Value. Do not make new entries by entering a new field number.

Changes will be valid immediately if the edited window has not been active while being edited. If it had been opened, is has to be closed and opened again.
