Via this program you can maintain forms (program windows, POS screens, etc.):
While you define the frame, the program window as such, the fields/field types are to be maintained via the program Form Fields.
Changes will be effective immediately if the edited window was closed at the time of editing. If it has been open, it has to be closed and opened again.
Apart from the following description, you can also find two examples in the chapters

(Sub-form, e.g. program window of MDI user interface)
·
No MDI Frame
(Oscar Standard dispatcher up to MICROS Retail OSCAR POS Version 2.0)
Via this window, you define how to deal with changes in cases of new releases (= after dofgl.fgl).
The entry in this field denotes the type of terminal screen for this form.
Note:
This coding should not be deactivated.
A review
of the appropriate terminal screens can be found in the documentation Terminal screens.
Permitted input range: numeric, 1 - 99
Number of the language in which the text to be edited is (to be) displayed. Currently, three languages are provided:
Activated: Vertical and
horizontal scroll bars will be displayed.
Deactivated: Scroll bars will not be displayed.
If this option is activated, the scroll bars will be displayed if the window has not been opened in its whole size. This might be the case if you have opened several windows and you would like to view them all simultaneously. In this case, you can view the required part of the window by use of the scroll bars.
As soon as you maximize the window, the scroll bars will vanish automatically (the option has Scroll Bar remains activated).
Do not make changes here.
Activated: No cursor
control.
Deactivated: Has cursor control.
If this option is activated, the cursor control via the mouse is impossible.
Activated: Masks with the
activated option have to be closed before another one can be edited.
Deactivated: Other masks can be edited simultaneously.
In the MICROS Retail OSCAR POS application there are masks that have to be closed before you can edit another window.
Example:
After you started MICROS Retail OSCAR POS, the program dispatch appears first,
then the sign-on window is displayed. You can only work with the dispatch after
you signed on and closed the sign-on window. The option Modal Dialog is
activated for the sign-on window.
Note:
Activated: This window is a
sales frame.
Deactivated: The edited window is not a sales frame.
A
review of the appropriate terminal screens can be found in the documentation Terminal screens.
Activated: The sales program
window cannot be moved.
Deactivated: The sales screen can be moved (e.g. by use of the mouse).
The activated option prevents the sales screen from being moved with the mouse, particularly if it has been opened directly and not from the program dispatch.
Button active: This sales
screen is a touch screen.
Button deactivated:. Sales screen without touch screen function.
A
review of the appropriate terminal screens can be found in the documentation Terminal screens.
Button active: The screen
adjusts to the full format according to your screen resolution.
Button deactivated:. The screen has a defined size.
Note:
This option can only be used for sales screens.
Activated: The edited window
is displayed.
Deactivated: The edited window is not displayed.
You can view changes immediately: If you activate the option, the edited window is displayed. By clicking on the toggle switch again, the window disappears. This generally requires that the displayed frame is moved until the switch is visible again.
Activated: The dispatch will
be displayed with a navigator window.
Deactivated: The dispatch will be displayed without the navigator
window.
From the version MICROS Retail OSCAR POS 1.6, the Navigator can be activated in the program dispatch by the activation of this option for the form Dispatch in the update program Form.
Previously, the OLE objects "MyTree", "AImageList", "MySysTree", "MyOrgTree", "MyGoodsTree", "MyCustTree", "MyDBTree" and "ATabStrip" had to be activated individually for the form Dispatch in the update program Form Fields.
