Setup and Booking of Loyalty Discounts
In the following, the essential parameter settings for
the setup and booking of a loyalty discount will be described. Further
information, particularly the field descriptions, can be found in the
corresponding program descriptions.
In the following example, a customer is granted a percent discount. Subsequently, the
discount will be booked.
- Change to the window Price Change Type via Parameters -> Discounts.
- Important parameter settings are:
- A free Markup / markdown no.
- Category Discount
- Selection of the VAT rate
- Program: Price Change Parameter
- Change to the window Price Change Parameter.
- Important parameter settings are:
- Assignment of a Terminal Type
- Activation of the switch Percent discount
- Activation of the switch ST discount
- Entry of a percentage in the field Per cent preset
- Save your entries and close the window Price Change Parameter
- Save your entries and close the window Price Change Type.
- Change to the window Customer Type via Application -> Customer
- Important parameter settings are:
- Assignment of a company
- A free customer type no.
- Assign the customer type to a customer group
(e.g. business customer).
- Program: Customer
- Change to the window Customer via the button Customer
- Adjust the following settings:
- Create a new customer by entering a free
customer no.
- Enter the Markup
/ markdown no. from the program Price Change Type in the field Discount Type No.
- Save your entries and close the window Customer.
- Save your entries and close the window Customer Type.
Booking of the Loyalty Discount
- Press the customer key (CUSTOMER).
- Select the customer.
- Book as usual.
- Calculate the subtotal via ST.
- Close the receipt with the appropriate payment
type.
- The discount assigned to the customer will be
subtracted automatically (in this case in percent).
