A
table status display can be parametered for the terminals which operate in the Table no.
system. If this function is activated additional icons for the status display
are used instead of the standard icons for the table symbols in the sales
program. In the update program Item -> Sales, a Table Status can be assigned to
each item. When such an item is sold, the corresponding icon is displayed as a
table symbol and informs about the state of the sales transactions at this
table.

Example:
In the update program Item -> Sales in the field Table Status, one of the following
five statuses can be assigned to every item.
If an item is sold with one
of these assigned table statuses, the table symbol in the display of the sales
program changes as follows:
= Aperitif
= Starter
= Main Course
= Dessert
= Coffee
By use of the various
different icons, the status of every table is displayed in the sales program.
Table status of the operator
By use of the example shown
above, the operator in charge can see if the dessert for a table has already
been served and whether the table will soon be free or if only the aperitif has
been served recently and the table will still be occupied for some time.
The status of all tables in
all profit centers can be displayed on the screen by use of the keyboard event
<ENTERHWD>. This allows e.g. an operator with status Head waiter
to monitor all table statuses in all profit centers during the business hours.
