The MICROS Retail OSCAR POS application offers you the option to preset companies and branch numbers, among others, i.e. it will not be necessary to enter these numbers.
There are two pre-selection options open:
Click on the button Preset Details in the program Operator to open a window in which you can preset the company, the branch, the branch group, the profit center and the price list by entering the appropriate numbers. The settings in Operator have priority over the setting Preset Company / Branch.
Note:
By use of the parameter
Disable Preset Fields in
the update program Operator -> Details 1-> Profile, you can define if the preset fields are to
be displayed in the screen masks or not.
Note:
If you preset the company and branch in
this window only, the settings will be invalid after a new start of the MICROS Retail OSCAR POS
application.
You can fix this problem by proceeding as
follows:
Go to System -> User
Interface -> Applications. Select the option Menu in the field Appl. Name.
View the data record by use of the search function. Activate the option Pre
Select to determine that the pre-selections defined in the window Presets are
to remain valid after a new start of the MICROS Retail OSCAR POS application.
