Wireless EFT

Currently MICROS Retail OSCAR POS 4.5 provides the following Wireless EFT Terminals:

Unlike all other EFT's, the wireless EFT communicates with a special server terminal process: The EFT transfered the terminal number, the operator number and the RFP transaction number which was created at the terminal with the payment type "In Addvance". The server process terminal (EFTService) checks the validity of the RFP transaction number. If the number is valid, the payment amount will be transferred and the EFT will proceed authorization. A invoice and optional a customer and merchant ticket will be printed by the integrated printer. The operator can book a Tip-amount. At the end the EFT will transfer the data of authorization (successful Yes/No), the card-ID, amount, TIP, payment fee, currency etc. and the server  process terminal can complete the payment transaction.

The interface for the wireless EFT will not be used from the driver, so the interface type NULL = 99 should be used. The IP address of the system unit where the EFT process terminal is running and the port number of the EFT device must be entered in the wireless EFT terminal.
