Orderman Sol
The MICROS Retail OSCAR POS application
supports the operation of radio terminals of the type Orderman Sol. This
terminal type is usually deployed in the hospitality business e.g. in outside
areas. The operation is similar to this of POS with touch layout, i.e. the
entries will be made via the touch keyboard and the input and output will be
shown on the display of the radio terminal.
Die configuration of the terminal Orderman Sol will
be done as remote device carried out in the following order:
- DEVICE
SERVICE process unit
Configure a Process
Unit of the type client at the System Unit
at which the base unit of the radio terminals is to be connected, or check
if such a process unit already exists. In field program name the name
"DevService" must be entered and the option "has
database" must be set.
- DEVICE Orderman Sol configuration
Maintain the device data of the type Orderman
Sol to store the corresponding Devices with a
particular number in the system. Assign these devices to the process unit
of the type device service. Select the Interface
via which the base unit (Antenna) is connected to the system unit.
Note:
The UDP broadcast port must be deallocated in the
firewall of the operating system.

Configure a Process
Unit of the type client. Enter the name "KassePocket" in
field program name and activate the options "Sol" and "has
database".
Achtung:
Für die Übernahme der Hermes Resourcen auf eine Systemeinheit
auf der nur ein Kassenclient läuft, muss das Kommando "oscar
client Repgen UiPocket.fgl" ausgeführt werden.
- KASSE

Create a terminal record with the update
program Terminals and assign it to the relevant process unit (KassePocket)
to which the device of the type Radio terminal is connected. This terminal
must have assigned the touch layout "Ordlayout_H".
- GERÄTE REMOTE einrichten
Maintain the device data of the type Remote to store the corresponding Devices with a particular number in the system.
Select the Interface 99 = NULL.
Assign these devices to the process unit of the type MICROS Retail OSCAR
POS CLIENT and link each remote device to the device radio terminal of the
process unit of the type MICROS Retail OSCAR POS DEVICE SERVICE. .
