Default OUTQ (A38)

Purpose: Use this screen to define the output queue name the system defaults to the RPT Output Queue field when it automatically creates a record in the Report Control table.

System Name field: Enter the output queue name you want the system to default to the RPT Output Queue field when it automatically creates a record in the Report Control table.

The first time you generate a report the system checks the Report Control table to see if report controls are already defined; if a record does not exist in the Report Control table for the report, the system creates one using the settings from this system control value along with the following system control values:

• Default OUTQ (A38)

• Default # Copies (A39)

• Hold Listing Default (A40)

• Save Listing Default (A41)

Note: These system control values are informational only and are not used to control the processing of reports.

Leave this field blank if you do not want the system to default a queue name to the RPT Output Queue field when it automatically creates a record in the Report Control table.
