Reservation Super Search (Main Search)
OPERA Cloud has incorporated an intuitive Super Search engine to retrieve guest reservations.
This main search field uses simple trigger words (such as "Smith" or "Cancelled") and numbers (such as "10/18/11" or "3001") that are relevant to a reservation, and then displays the search results in Text or Table view, in chronological order. The more unique to the reservation the keywords are (such as the confirmation number), the more focused the results. Separate keywords with a single space. (Please see the "Super Search Criteria List" below for more search options.)
This feature also serves as an entryway for accessing or modifying existing reservation information and guest profiles, taking actions on reservations (such as cancelling, check in, or moving reservations) and accessing reservation indicators (such as Preferences, Memberships, Activities) .
Super Search (Main Search) performs its search on the user’s default property. If another property search is desired, change the Property field in the Advanced Search screen and then return to Super Search by selecting the Main Search link.
Super Search Criteria List
The following are reservation attributes whose values can be used in the Super Search as criteria. Separate multiple keywords with a single space (moore 09/01/11). Partial words are also accepted (such as cancel for cancelled, pat for patrick). Use the MM-DD-YY or MM/DD/YY format for dates.

Super Search Results Order
Super Search results are based on the criteria entered as well as the date entered (use MM-DD-YY or MM/DD/YY format). If no date is entered, the results are based on the current business date, then future reservations outward from the current business date, and then past reservations backward from the current business date.
