Chapter 57: Purging Unused Pick Control Label Records (PLBS)

Purpose: If you are using PC manifesting, you can use pick label tracking to confirm shipment of more than one package per pick slip. See the Use Pick Label Tracking in Manifest Interface? (D48) system control value.

If you use pick label tracking, the system creates multiple label records for each pick slip you download to the PC manifest system. You define the number of label records in the System Control file. When you ship the items on the pick slip in fewer boxes than this number, the system does not automatically delete unused records. Periodically, you must purge unused label records from the Pick Control Label file.
