Chapter 107: Generating Store Promotion Notifications (GSPN)

Purpose: Use Generate Store Promotion Notifications to print the Store Promotion Notification for promotions that have a start date that is 7 days after the date you specify. The Store Promotion Notifications report lists the promotions assigned to a store and the items that are in each promotion.

Once you print the Store Promotion Notification, you can send the notification to each store that is listed on the report so that the store can prepare for the promotion.

How to display this screen: Enter GSPN in the Fast path field at the top of any menu, or select Generate Store Promotion Notification from a menu.

Field	Description
Date	The date for which you wish to generate store promotion notifications. The system prints store promotions whose start date is 7 days after the date you enter so that you can have advance notice of the promotion and the store can prepare for the promotion. Numeric, 6 positions (MMDDYY format); required.

Step-by-step instructions: To generate a Store Promotion Notification for stores that have a promotion start date 7 days after the date you entered.

1. Enter a date in the Date field.

2. Press F9 to submit the report. The system displays a message similar to the following indicating the store promotion notification has printed:
