Pick Wave Label

Overview: Use a pick wave label to attach to an item that you pick so that it can be sorted to the appropriate order for shipment.

A separate pick wave label prints for each location/SKU/pick control number in a pick wave, sorted in wave/lane/bin number sequence. The system prints a separate pick wave label for each unit of the SKU that needs to be picked from the location for the pick control number (order).

Pick wave label example: The following pick slips are included in a wave:

How to print: The system prints a pick wave label when you generate pick slips if you are Using Wave Picking and a print program name has been defined in the Pick Wave Label Print Program (J88) system control value.

Sample pick wave label: The base pick wave label print program is FLR1212. If you use a unique print program, the information in the sample will be included on your labels only if your unique print program supports the information.

Contents:

• Loc: The location in the warehouse where the item/SKU is located.

• SKU: The SKU of the item to pick; this is the SKU code in the Pick Control Detail file.

• Desc: The description of the item. If the item contains SKUs, the SKU description displays below the item description.

• Item: The item number; this is the ITM number in the Pick Control Detail file.

• Wave: The wave number assigned to the pick slip; this is the PCH billing batch # in the Pick Control Header file.

• Lane: The lane assigned to the item; this is the Cart batch # in the Pick Control Header file.

• Bin: The bin assigned to the order; this is the Cart bin # in the Pick Control Detail file.

• PC #: The pick control number; this is the PCH control # in the Pick Control Detail file.

• Date: The date when the pick wave label was printed.

• Time: The time when the pick wave label was printed.
