Working with SKU Cross Reference Records (WSKR)
Purpose: Use the SKU Cross Reference file to enter SKU information specific to JC Penney for each item sold in an offer.
Important: The cross references discussed here are different from the cross references you set up through the Cross Reference # option (option 32) in item maintenance, through the item upload, or automatically at item creation. The cross references you set up through the Maintain SKU Cross Reference menu option are stored in the SKU Cross Reference/JCP file and are related to the JC Penney integration. See Work with SKU Cross Reference Type Screen for more information on the other type of SKU cross references.

Purpose: Use this screen to identify the offer for which you want to define cross-reference information between the CWDirect item numbers and the JC Penney item numbers.
How to display this screen: Enter WSKR in the Fast Path field at the top of any menu or select the Work with SKU Cross Reference.

About this screen: This screen lists every item sold in the specified offer (in the Item/SKU fields on the left of the screen) and provides fields on the right of the screen for you to enter, update or delete JC Penney information for these items.

A unique code to identify a unit of inventory in CWDirect. Items are defined in and validated against the Item file. Alphanumeric, 12 positions; display-only. |
Cat (Catalog) |
The code for the JC Penney catalog in which the item is sold. Alphanumeric, 2 positions; optional. |
Dpt (Department) |
The code for the JC Penney department to which the item belongs. Alphanumeric, 3 positions; optional. |
Page # |
The number of the page in the catalog in which the item is advertised. Numeric, 5 positions; optional. |
SKU |
A code that identifies the style of the item, as defined by JC Penney. Alphanumeric, 4 positions; optional. |
Sf (Suffix) |
The suffix appended to the JC Penney item number. Alphanumeric, 2 positions; optional. |
Clr (Color) |
The color of the item, as defined by JC Penney. Alphanumeric, 2 positions; optional. |
Wgt (Weight) |
The weight of the item. Numeric, 5 positions with a 2-place decimal; optional. |
Um (Unit of measure) |
A code by which the item is measured, such as in pounds, feet, etc. Alphanumeric, 2 positions; optional. |
Long |
A code that identifies a particular style characteristic of the item. Numeric, 5 positions with a 2-place decimal; optional. |
Medium |
A code that identifies a particular style characteristic of the item. Numeric, 5 positions with a 2-place decimal; optional. |
Short |
A code that identifies a particular style characteristic of the item. Numeric, 5 positions with a 2-place decimal; optional. |
Ups |
A code that identifies the method by which this item is shipped. Alphanumeric, 3 positions; optional. |
