Follow the instructions below, on the machine where Oracle Commerce Guided Search with Experience Manager is installed, to remove the EAC applications that support Commerce Store Accelerator and their associated CAS artifacts.
To remove the EAC applications:
Open a UNIX shell or command prompt.
Change directories to the
CSAenEAC application’scontroldirectory, for example:cd /usr/local/endeca/Apps/CSAen/controlor
cd C:\Endeca\Apps\CSAen\controlEnter one of the following commands.
On UNIX, enter:
./runcommand.sh --remove-appOn Windows, enter:
runcommand.bat –-remove-appRepeat the steps above to remove the remaining EAC applications:
CSAes,CSAde,CSAStagingen,CSAStaginges, andCSAStagingde.
To remove the CAS artifacts:
In a UNIX shell or command prompt, change directories to the CAS
bindirectory, for example:cd /usr/local/endeca/CAS/11.3.0/binor
cd C:\Endeca\CAS\11.3.0\binEnter one of the following commands to delete the
CSAen-datarecord store.On UNIX, enter:
./component-manager-cmd.sh delete-component –n CSAen-dataOn Windows, enter:
component-manager-cmd.bat delete-component –n CSAen-dataRepeat the command in the previous step to delete the remaining CSA artifacts, replacing
CSAen-datawith one of the following values each time:CSAes-dataCSAde-dataCSAStagingen-dataCSAStaginges-dataCSAStagingde-dataCSAen-dimvalsCSAes-dimvalsCSAde-dimvalsCSAStagingen-dimvalsCSAStaginges-dimvalsCSAStagingde-dimvalsCSAen-dimension-value-id-managerCSAes-dimension-value-id-managerCSAde-dimension-value-id-managerCSAStagingen-dimension-value-id-managerCSAStaginges-dimension-value-id-managerCSAStagingde-dimension-value-id-manager
To verify that your record stores are deleted, you can optionally use this command:
On UNIX, enter:
./component-manager-cmd.sh list-componentsOn Windows, enter:
component-manager-cmd.bat list-componentsYou should see the following message, indicating that all three record stores are deleted:
No components have been provisioned.Enter one of the following commands to delete the
CSAen-last-mile-crawl.On UNIX, enter:
./cas-cmd.sh deleteCrawl –id CSAen-last-mile-crawlOn Windows, enter:
cas-cmd.bat deleteCrawl –id CSAen-last-mile-crawlRepeat the command in the previous step to delete the remaining CSA artificats, replacing
CSAen-last-mile-crawlwith one of the following values each time:CSAes-last-mile-crawlCSAde-last-mile-crawlCSAStagingen-last-mile-crawlCSAStaginges-last-mile-crawlCSAStagingde-last-mile-crawl
To verify that your crawls are deleted, you can optionally use this command:
On UNIX, enter:
./cas-cmd.sh listCrawlsOn Windows, enter:
cas-cmd.bat listCrawlsIf no crawls are listed, you have successfully deleted them all.
Delete the Endeca applications directory (for example,
/usr/local/endeca/AppsorC:\Endeca\Apps) from the file system.
