SUNWsamfs
The
sam-cloudd
daemon lets users make archive copies using cloud storage services.
It manages I∕O between Oracle HSM and the cloud service, and it
provides a command-line interface for managing cloud account
passwords.
To update a cloud account password file, start
sam-cloudd
with the following option:
-p password_file where password_file is the path and file name of the password file.
When used with the -p option, sam-cloudd prompts the
user for a password, encrypts password, and writes the result to
the file specified by password_file. If the specified file
already exists, sam-cloudd asks the user for confirmation
before overwriting the file.
