Modifying a User

You can change the properties associated with a user in the User Editor. For example, you can change the user's name and description, disable the account, apply security filters, change group membership, or grant access to features.

To modify a user:

  1. From the Admin menu, select User Manager. This displays the User Manager.

  2. Click the name of the group that contains the user to modify. This displays a list of users.

  3. In the Actions column for the user, click the Edit icon . This displays the User Editor.

  4. You can do the following:

    Reset a User's Password

    Disable a User Account

    Enable a User Account

    Assign Security Filters

    Add a User to Groups

    Create and Manage User Addresses

    Grant or Deny Features to a User

  5. Click OK to save the changes.
