Create a new dynamic address list dialog box

Dynamic address lists allow you to use a report to specify a group of recipients for use in subscriptions. You can create dynamic address lists using the Create a new dynamic address list dialog box.

The following options are available:

 

Dynamic address list name: Enter a name for the new dynamic recipient list in the field.

Report: Click Select. The Select Report dialog box opens. Use it to select the source report to use to provide the information for the contacts in the dynamic recipient list. The source reports provided for creating dynamic address lists are located in the Shared Reports \ Master File Distribution folder. For instructions on how to modify a report with a list of subscribers, see Modifying a Report to Specify Subscription Recipients. After you select the report, the values in the property table below are populated.

 

Required Property

Physical Address: The attribute form that contains the email address of each contact in the list.

Linked user ID: The attribute form that contains the Linked User ID.  

Device: The attribute form that contains the device ID (the 32-character hexadecimal string used to identify the email device) for each contact in the list.

Prerequisite

You need to have the Create Dynamic Address List privilege.
