You can deliver reports and documents by subscription to individual contacts that are not actual users in the XBRi project. To do so, you use a dynamic address list containing each contact to whom you want to deliver data. Dynamic address lists allow you to quickly create subscriptions for multiple contacts without having an administrator add each user in the project.
Dynamic address lists are defined in the Dynamic Address Lists Preferences page.
Dynamic address lists are derived from special source reports based on Master files, such as District Master, that contain email addresses where reports and documents are to be delivered. Dynamic address lists appear in the list of Available Recipients when defining a new subscription to a report or document.
In addition, security filters can be applied to these contacts. For example, if a contact has a security filter that restricts her from viewing sales data about regions other than her own region, subscriptions delivered to any contacts associated with that user will not contain sales data about regions other than that user’s region. When the subscription is executed, only the data that matches the filtered data is included in the delivered report or document.
