Once you have created a Visual Insight quick dashboard, you can determine how the Filters panel is displayed to a user. For example, you can choose to add or remove filters from the Filters panel, collapse or expand individual filters, or display or hide the entire Filters panel.
The table below lists the ways in which you can edit filters or the Filters panel, and steps to do so.

Add a filter to the Filters panel |
From the Dataset Objects panel, click and drag the report object you want to use to filter data to the Filters panel. The report object is added as a new filter in the Filters panel. Move a filter in the Filters panel |
From the Filters panel, click and drag the header of the filter to a new location. You can move it above or below existing filters in the Filters panel. |
Remove a filter from the Filters panel |

Determine whether to automatically apply selections made in the Filters panel You can choose to automatically filter data when the user makes selections in a filter, or filter data only when the user clicks Apply in the Filters panel. |
