Dashboard Editor: Grid: Properties

From the drop-down list at the top of the panel, determine what part of the grid to format. See the appropriate section below for formatting options:

General Settings options

The following general formatting options are available to format rows, columns, and data cells in the Grid visualization:

All Grid Fonts: Use the options for standard font formatting to format all the data in the visualization:

Note: You can also format the columns, rows, or cell values separately, using the Column Headers options, Row Headers options, or Values options. If you change the font using the All Grid fonts options, the separate column, row, and value formatting is overwritten.

Show banding: Determine whether or not to apply color banding to rows in the visualization. If this option is selected, rows in the grid are displayed using alternating colors. (Cleared by default)

Padding: Determine whether to display a small, medium, or large amount of padding between values in the grid and each data cell.

Columns: Select one of the following column width options:

You can define additional formatting options, such as showing, merging, and locking the row or column headers; how to display the attribute form names; and determine how null and zero metric values are hidden. To access these options, click More Options. For detailed descriptions of these options, see More Options dialog box.

Title and Container options

The following options are available to format the title and background in a Grid visualization:

Column Headers options

The following options are available to format the column headers in the Grid visualization.

Font: Use the options for standard font formatting.

Fill Color: Select the background color to use to display the column header.

Horizontal Lines: Select the line style and color to use to display the horizontal borders of the column header.

Vertical Lines: Select the line style and color to use to display the vertical borders of the column header.

The following options are available to format the row headers in the Grid visualization.

Font: Use the options for standard font formatting.

Fill Color: Select the background color to use to display the row header.

Horizontal Lines Select the line style and color to use to display the horizontal borders of the row header.
