About Finance Locking

You can lock finances to prevent changes to project-level finances for auditing, reporting or compliance purposes. These locks can be set at the global level, at the initiative level, or at the organization hierarchy level. At the individual project level, users can override this lock if they have either the Project Finance Administrator or the Update Project Lock Month permissions.

Use the Bulk Finance Locking page to:

• Set the global finance lock month and finance view to lock.
• Set bulk finance locks for all projects and proposals associated with an initiative or organization hierarchy.
• View, edit, and delete the active finance locks.
• set temporary finance locks at the global, initiative, or organization hierarchy level.
