Release 4 of the Oracle Unbreakable Kernel (UEK) for Linux is installed by default on Oracle Linux 6.9 and 7.3 OS. Oracle Unbreakable Kernel Release 4 contains improvements and new features that have been incorporated into mainline Linux since Release 3 of the Oracle Unbreakable Kernel.
