Composer Toolbar
The Composer Toolbar currently consists of these two sections: Platform Simulator and Text Direction Charger.
- The Platform Simulator section enables users to configure the Siebel application for the different viewports (modes). When any of these viewports are used, the application is reloaded to simulate the user experience in that particular view. Note that the layout changes made to the active context are saved against the selected viewport only.
These three viewports are available in the Platform Simulator section:
- Desktop view
Select the Desktop icon to configure the application in desktop mode (or a full-screen size).
- Tablet view
Select the Tablet icon to configure the application in tablet mode (or a medium-screen size).
- Phone view
Select the Phone icon to configure the application in phone mode (or a compact-screen size).
- The Text Direction Changer section displays the Text drop-down list that is used to configure the Siebel application for the different text directions. Note that the layout changes made to the active context are saved against the selected text direction only.
The Text drop-down list includes these two text directions: LTR (left-to-right) and RTL (right-to-left).
When the toggle is changed between the two text directions, the application is reloaded to simulate the user experience in that particular text direction.
NOTE: The Platform Simulator and the Text Direction Changer sections can be used in conjunction to configure a combination of modes. In addition, the Composer Toolbar may have further global options in future releases of Siebel Composer.
