This section describes how you can use the Click-to-Call APIs if you do not have access to Webcare. The diagram below shows an example of how you may configure your setup.

Sample configuration for a non-Webcare user
With this solution a third-party application such as RightNow is used to create and manage the UI elements. You then use the Call Template API to display the UI and the Call JavaScript API to connect and monitor the status of the call.
The following describes the configuration used in the diagram above:
Templates are created using a third-party integrator. Template details are then stored in a Click-to-Call database.
Buttons are created using a third-party integrator.
Invites are created using a third-party integrator
Your own code manages the buttons and UIs and determines when they are displayed to a visitor, or alternatively, Engagement Engine rules are used to determine whether to display an invite to a visitor.
When a visitor enters their telephone number and clicks the button to place the call, the Call JavaScript API connects the call and monitors the ongoing status of the call.
