Use Case: Viewing a List of Billing Accounts

This use case lets an Assisted Service agent view a list of billing accounts.

Main Path for Viewing a List of Billing Accounts

The main path occurs when an agent enters a full or partial wildcard character in the Billing Account Number field on the Search page and clicks Submit to display the View Accounts page. Valid wildcard characters are % and *.

Alternate Paths for Viewing a List of Billing Accounts

An alternate path occurs when an agent does not currently have a billing account selected, and clicks Billing Account on the Main Menu, and enters a full or partial wildcard search on the View Accounts page.

  • Module title text: Prompt for Caller's Information
  • Text and blank field for data entry: Caller's Name Field
  • Text and blank field for data entry: Caller's Email Field

Search Billing Accounts Module

This module displays the following elements:

  • Module title text: Search Billing Accounts
  • Text and blank field for data entry: Billing Account Number Field
  • Text: Enter a valid billing account number and click Submit.
  • Button: Submit
    Action: Displays the Search Results for Billing Account Module listing the billing account.

This module displays the following elements:

  • Module title text and data (One of the following):
    • Search on data: Search Results for Billing Account Number Account number (Number Item(s))
    • Wildcard search: Search Results for Billing Account Number (Number Item(s))
  • Column titles:
    • Text and sorting link: Account Number
    • Text and sorting link: Account Type
    • Text and sorting link: Biller ID
