This section describes known issues in the Oracle Commerce Cloud Service administration interface.
CCAD-6812 Serbian (Cyrillic) is not a supported language
On the Location tab in the administration interface, you can select Serbian (Cyrillic) as the default store language or as an additional store language. However, Serbian (Cyrillic) is not supported in this release. If you select Serbian (Cyrillic), text on your store will not be translated and IDs will display instead of text. Also, if you select Serbian (Cyrillic) as an additional store language, any strings you translate for your store (for example, text snippets) cannot be saved and retrieved.
Workaround: Do not select Serbian (Cyrillic) as your store’s default language or as an additional store language.
24354870 Cannot drag a product to a collection from any other page than the first one if search returns more than one page of results
If a search for a product on the Catalog tab returns more than one page of search results, you cannot assign a product to a collection by dragging it to a collection in the tree if the product appears on the second page (or higher) of the search results.
Workaround: To assign the product to a collection, click the checkmark in the upper-left corner of the collection to select it. Type the C
key to display the Copy to Collection dialog. Select a collection from the drop-down list and click Save.
23654293 Internal IDs are sometimes displayed for promotion types on the Marketing tab
The names of promotion types in the New Promotion menu and a new promotion’s details page are sometimes replaced by their internal IDs.
Workaround: Clear your browser’s cache. This restores the display of promotion-type names.
23758018 Edits made to promotion descriptions do not always appear in the UI
If you edit the description field of a promotion and save your changes, those changes sometimes disappear when you leave the promotion’s details page and then return to it later, especially if you are creating and editing a number of promotions at the same time. The changes to the promotions’ description are saved to the server; the problem is only with their display in the UI.
Workaround: Refresh your browser to display the updated promotion description.
23549467 Claimed coupon codes are not updated in some circumstances
If a coupon batch assigned to an enabled promotion is then also assigned to a second promotion, shoppers cannot claim the second promotion with a coupon code already used to claim the first promotion.
Workaround: Carefully plan promotions and coupon assignment
22954454 Replacing a promotion’s coupon can cause unexpected results
If you replace an existing coupon with another, shoppers can still redeem the promotion with the deleted coupon. This is true for both batch and single-use coupons.
Workaround: Do not replace a promotion’s coupon.
21860892 Clicking Cancel when working with payment gateways can cause fields to disappear
When working on the Payment Gateways tab in Payment Processing settings, clicking Cancel to close a page without saving settings can cause some fields in the UI to disappear.
Workaround: Refresh the page.
22490106 Chinese locales are not supported with Microsoft browsers on Windows 8 and Windows 10
If your computer is running Windows 8 or Windows 10 and you are accessing the Oracle Commerce Cloud Service administration interface with Microsoft IE or Microsoft Edge, you cannot display the administration interface in Chinese (Simplified) or Chinese (Traditional).
Workaround: Use a different browser.
21851947 Payment authorizations are not always voided when a transaction times out
If a payment gateway transaction times out, payment authorizations are not always voided, even if the order is not successfully submitted.
Workaround: Void the payment authorization via your payment processor. If you subscribe to the Oracle Commerce Cloud Service Agent Console, you can cancel the order on the Agent Console.
21852664 When the prices for all a product’s SKUs override and are higher than the inherited product list price, sorting products by price produces unexpected results
If you override the inherited product list price for all a product’s SKUs with a higher list price, then sort by price on a collection that contains that product, its place in the sorted list is based on the product price. The product’s place in the list should be based on the lowest SKU price.
Workaround: Do not make the list prices of all a product’s SKUs higher than their parent product’s list price.
CCAD-888 The value of a property in the base product type overwrites the value of a property added to a custom product type when both properties have the same ID
Each property ID must be unique within your catalog, though the Oracle Commerce Cloud Service interface does not always prevent you from creating multiple properties with the same ID. If a property in the base product type and a custom property in a custom product type have the same property ID, the value of the property in the base product type always overwrites the value of the property in the custom product type.
Workaround: Make sure each property ID is unique within your catalog.
20397746 When adding an image to a product or collection in Firefox, pressing the ESC key closes both the operating system’s file-upload dialog and the product or collection modal dialog
When you upload individual images on the Media tab for a product or collection in Firefox, the operating system’s file-upload dialog launches so you can pick an image to upload. If you press the ESC key to close the file-upload dialog, the product or collection modal dialog also closes.
Workaround: Close the operating system’s file-upload dialog with the Cancel button.
CCAD-2486 Hidden files are included in the upload report when you upload a ZIP file created with a Mac
If you compress media files in a ZIP file with a Mac, a number of hidden files (a .DS Store file and a hidden file for each media file) are created in the ZIP. When you upload the ZIP file, the upload summary lists the hidden files as files with errors.
Workaround: Download the full report to see if any media files caused errors, or if all errors are related to hidden files.
23128842 & 23134450 Site Favicon & No-image hints messages are hard-coded in all languages
The help text related to Site General Settings Favicon and No-Image Image is not translated.
SiteMetaDataService().getExtensionSiteSettingsAsJson() returns the disabled gateway details
Before changing the generic giftcard extension to the Chase giftcard, the generic giftcard must be disabled. If this is not disabled then the site view model will populate the validations from the generic gift card extension.
21851931 Text Snippets are not displayed when English country-specific locales are set in the language picker
When en_US, en_GB, en_CA or en_AU are selected, the Text Snippet Type drop down view does not display and only the user assistance text is displayed.
Workaround: Ensure the language picker is set to English without specifying an English variant.
22760489 After changing the currency using the currency picker on the Cart page, shipping methods for non-default addresses are not loaded
Shipping methods are not loaded for the new address when the currency is changed on the Cart page currency picker, even if the price group is changed.
Workaround: Selecting the country and state manually from the drop down list loads the shipping methods. This is for the default address only.
22490205 Incorrect shipping countries are shown on the Cart Shipping widget countries drop down
Only those shipping countries aligned to the chosen currency should be displayed on the Cart Shipping widget, however, all countries are shown.
23018704 Shortcut keys cannot be used in Safari to select elements in the Product Details widget, or to open the About tab
Unable to use the tab shortcut keys to navigate and open the About tab and the Product Details Widget elements when using Safari.
22632867 The Promotions report does not have German translations for coupon code, promotion name, and promotion type
All Promotions report static text should be translated, however, the German promotion type, promotion name and coupon code text is not translated.
SC-4356 Wish list content widget needs to be versioned
For merchants upgrading from Oracle Commerce Cloud Service (OCCS) version 15.4 to later versions, the wish list page no longer functions correctly. The JavaScript for the 15.5 Wish List Header widget is not compatible with the 15.4 version of the widget template. The result is that the wish list page fails to load due to JavaScript errors.
Merchants must delete the Wish List Header widget instance from the Wish List layout and add the widget back into the layout from the Component library.
Merchants may also want to do the same for the Wish List Content widget. This action ensures they are using the latest templates available for these widgets.
Important: Merchants must manually edit the templates and style sheets for these widget instances as the new instances do not replicate any customizations they have made to the previous instance of the widget.
Use the following steps to complete the wish lists widget upgrade:
Make a copy of the template and style sheet code before the existing widget instances are deleted, and save the copy to an external file.
Note: This code can then be used as a reference for editing the new instances of the widgets once they are placed in the Wish List layout.
Log in to the OCCS administration UI.
Navigate to the Design tab.
From the Layout menu, select Wish List > Wish List Layout.
On the upper right corner of the Layout page, click the Grid View icon.
Locate the Wish List Header widget on the page. Click the X icon to delete the instance. Complete this step for the Wish List Content widget.
At the bottom of the page, click Components.
Drag the Wish List Header widget and drop it in the same row from which the Wish List Header was deleted. Complete this step for the Wish List Content widget.
Edit the widgets to include any modifications made to the previous instance using the Design > Code tab. Base these changes on the code copy made before deleting the widgets.
24683823 New index fields do not appear in Index Fields table on Search tab using Edge browser
When you use the Microsoft Edge browser to make a property searchable or unsearchable in the Catalog tab and then publish, your changes are not reflected in the Index Fields table on the Search tab. Making a property searchable should cause the index field to appear in the table; removing searchablity should remove the index field from the table.
Workaround: Clearing your cache and logging in again fixes this issue.
