Creating a New Virtual Business Component

You create a new VBC in Siebel Tools.

To create a new virtual business component

1. In Siebel Tools, lock the appropriate project.
2. In the Object Explorer, select the Business Component object.
3. Right-click, and then choose New Record.
4. Name the business component.
5. Select the project you locked in Step 1.
6. Set the class to CSSBCVExtern. This class provides the VBC functionality.
