JQUERY UPDATE TO 3.5.0 OR LATER (ID 32025557)

Prerequisites

These are the prerequisite software that must be installed for this patch:

·         The minimum patch set level of the Oracle Insurance Data Foundation Application Pack v8.1.0.0.0 Major Release (Download the installer from the Oracle Software Delivery Cloud).

·         OFS AAAI Application Pack v8.1.0.1.0 Maintenance Level Release patch 31529396.

NOTE: In an environment consisting of multiple OFSAA applications, if the October 2020 Critical Patch Update is applied for any one application, it is mandatory to apply the respective October 2020 Critical Patch Updates for all other applications on that OFSAA instance, regardless of the application version. See the My Oracle Support Doc ID 2724021.1 for details.

How to Apply this One-Off Patch Release?

To apply this one-off patch, follow these steps:

1.        Log in to the My Oracle Support (MOS) and search for the Patch ID 32025557 under the Patches & Updates tab.

2.       Download the 32025557_GENERIC.zip archive file and copy it to your OFSAA server in the Binary mode.

3.       Shut down all the OFSAAI Services. For more information, see the Stopping Infrastructure Services section in the Oracle Financial Services Advanced Analytical Applications Infrastructure Installation Guide Release 8.1.0.0.0.

4.      Extract the contents of the patch archive file by using the following command:

unzip -a <name of the file to be unzipped>

For example: unzip -a 32025557_GENERIC.zip

NOTE: The "-a" option is mandatory to unzip the patch archive file. If you notice the error message “unzip: not found [No such file or directory]” when the package is not installed, contact your UNIX Administrator to resolve this issue. For more information, see the Oracle Insurance Data Foundation Application Pack Installation and Configuration Guide Release 8.1.0.0.0.

5.       Grant the RWX (755) permissions for the OFS_OIDF folder by executing the following command:

chmod -R 755 OFS_OIDF

6.      Navigate to the <>/appsLibConfig/conf directory.

7.       Update the UPLOAD_MODEL parameter value to 0 in the params.conf file to skip the model upload.

8.      Navigate to the <>/OFS_OIDF/bin directory.

9.      Execute the following command:

./setup.sh

10.   Verify the patch installation logs in the <>/OFS_OIDF/logs directory. If there are any errors, contact My Oracle Support (MOS).

11.     Generate the application EAR or WAR file, and redeploy the application in the configured web application server. For more information, see the Create and Deploy the EAR/WAR Files section in the Oracle Financial Services Advanced Analytical Applications Infrastructure Installation Guide Release 8.1.0.0.0.

12.    After installation, restart all the OFSAAI services. For more information, see the Oracle Financial Services Advanced Analytical Applications Infrastructure Installation Guide Release 8.1.0.0.0.
