You can view and modify the rules within a slot.
Experience Manager provides a slot list view that displays all the rules that can appear within a slot. You can use this list to see:
The name of the rule and the template that was used to create it.
The full path of the rule in the Experience Manager content tree.
The visitor's location that triggers a rule. The location is composed of the visitor's search queries and navigation selections within the application.
The current state of the rule: active or inactive. An active rule can fire, but an inactive rule cannot.
The last time when the rule was modified and who modified it.
To see the content within a slot, use one of these methods:
In the Rules section of the navigation tree, click the folder with the slot that you want to view.
For a page slot, in the Site Pages section of the navigation tree, click the page with the slot that you want to view or edit and then click Slot Contents.
If you are previewing the application, click Hotspot in the manifest, navigate to the slot in the edit area and then hover the mouse pointer over the slot menu in the upper right corner of the slot. Select Edit and then click Slot Contents.
If there are many items and you cannot see one that you are looking for, try one of these actions:
Change the behavior of rules in the slot:
In the Name column, click a rule to open and edit an individual rule.
In the Locations column, click the location to edit the location trigger that activates the rule when a user navigates.
In the Active column, deselect the check box to prevent the rule from firing in your application.
In the Priority column, change the priority of the rule. By increasing the priority of a rule, you increase the likelihood that content is displayed if there are other rules with overlapping trigger criteria.
Click the icon at the right end of the row perform any of the following actions:
Preview displays the effect of invoking the particular rule.
Cut removes the rule from its current path. You can paste it into a folder in the navigation tree using the Paste option of that folder's menu.
Copy, followed by a paste, creates a copy of the rule at the path that you select.
Duplicate immediately creates a copy of the rule at the same path.
