In most circumstances, a baseline update exports to Search only those records of catalog product data that have changed since the last time the records were exported; it does not export unchanged records. This feature results in improved performance when you publish changes to your catalog data.

In certain cases, you may need to force a baseline update to export all records; for example, if a system failure has caused loss of all Search data. In such a case, you can use the Full Export option of the /ccadmin/v1/Search endpoint to force all records to be exported. These changes to the behavior of baseline update do not affect the behavior of partial updates, which remains unchanged.
