Gift Certificate Print Program (E76)

Purpose: Use this screen to define the gift certificate print program the system uses to print gift certificates.

System name: Enter the program name the system uses to print gift certificates.

MICROS provides the name of the system program that prints gift certificates. If you write your own program, or if MICROS modifies the program that prints gift certificates, you must enter the new program name in this field.

The standard graphical gift certificate printing program is GCERTG, and the standard non-graphical program is GCERT. See the Gift Certificate for samples.

Leave this field blank if you do not want the system to print gift certificates. Process Gift Certificates (fast path = MPGC) and Reprint Gift Certificates (fast path = MRGC) display an error message when you try to print or reprint gift certificates and a program name has not been defined:

Gift Certificate print program must be defined in SCV E76.
