In order to print RF LPN labels, you must also define an RF LPN Label Print Program (E22) and complete the LabelPrinters Properties.

User printer assignment: Use Working with User Label Printers (WULP) to assign a user that prints LPN labels to a particular printer; when the user prints an RF LPN label, the system prints the label on the assigned printer rather than the printer defined in this system control value.

See RF LPN Label for more information on the setup required to print LPN labels and a sample LPN label.

Leave this field blank if you do not use radio frequency in your warehouse.

RF Bin Location Label Print Program (E23)

System name field: Enter the print program used to print bar-coded Bin Location labels for radio frequency warehouse management. The base print program is RFR0072. The base print program prints RF Bin Location labels that are 1" high x 4" wide.

You can use the Bin Location label to scan the bin location barcode using an RF Gun while processing Radio Frequency Transactions (RFMN).

In order to print RF Bin Location labels, you must also define an RF Bin Location Printer ID (J96) and complete the LabelPrinters Properties. See RF Bin Location Label for more information on the setup required to print Bin Location labels and a sample Bin Location label.

Leave this field blank if you do not use radio frequency in your warehouse.

RF Bin Location Printer ID (J96)

System name field: Enter the ID of the default printer used to print RF Bin Location labels. The base printer ID is BIN_PTR and should not be changed.

You can use the Bin Location label to scan the bin location barcode using an RF Gun while processing Radio Frequency Transactions (RFMN).

In order to print RF Bin Location labels, you must also define an RF Bin Location Label Print Program (E23) and complete the LabelPrinters Properties.

User printer assignment: Use Working with User Label Printers (WULP) to assign a user that prints Bin Location labels to a particular printer; when the user prints a Bin Location label, the system prints the label on the assigned printer rather than the printer defined in this system control value.

See RF LPN Label for more information on the setup required to print Bin Location labels and a sample Bin Location label.

Leave this field blank if you do not use radio frequency in your warehouse.

RF Item Label Print Program (E24)

System name field: Enter the print program used to print bar-coded Item labels for radio frequency warehouse management. The base print program is RFR0071. The base print program prints RF Item labels that are 2" high x 4" wide.

You can use the Item label to scan the Item barcode using an RF Gun while processing Radio Frequency Transactions (RFMN).

In order to print RF Item labels, you must also define an RF Item Printer ID (J97) and complete the LabelPrinters Properties. See RF Item Label for more information on the setup required to print Item labels and a sample Item label.

Leave this field blank if you do not use radio frequency in your warehouse.

RF Item Printer ID (J97)

System name field: Enter the ID of the default printer used to print RF Item labels. The base printer ID is ITM_PTR and should not be changed.

You can use the Item label to scan the Item barcode using an RF Gun while processing Radio Frequency Transactions (RFMN).

In order to print RF Item labels, you must also define an RF Item Label Print Program (E24) and complete the LabelPrinters Properties.

User printer assignment: Use Working with User Label Printers (WULP) to assign a user that prints RF Item labels to a particular printer; when the user prints an RF Item label, the system prints the label on the assigned printer rather than the printer defined in this system control value.

See RF Item Label for more information on the setup required to print Item labels and a sample Item label.

Leave this field blank if you do not use radio frequency in your warehouse.

RF Return Label Print Program (E25)

System name field: Enter the print program used to print bar-coded Return labels for radio frequency warehouse management. The base print program is RFR0073. The base print program prints RF Return labels that are 2" high x 4" wide.

You can use the Return label to scan the Item barcode using an RF Gun while processing Radio Frequency Transactions (RFMN).

In order to print RF Return labels, you must also define an RF Return Printer ID (J98) and complete the LabelPrinters Properties. See RF Return Label for more information on the setup required to print Return labels and a sample Return label.

You can also use the Print Item Location Labels (PILL) menu option to print these labels.

Leave this field blank if you do not use radio frequency in your warehouse.

RF Item Number Label Type (E28)

Defines how the system validates the item/SKU code you scan through LPN labels.

Code field: Enter the code representing the format of the item/SKU field for bar-coded item codes on RF labels. This code tells the system how to interpret item codes that you scan through an RF gun.

Valid values:

SHORT SKU

The system uses the specified short SKU code to find the correct SKU.

If the short SKU code is not valid, the system determines if it is a valid item number, and if so, uses it.

blank

The system uses the specified item number and SKU code to find the correct SKU.

If the item number is not valid, the system determines if it is a valid short SKU number, and if so, uses it.
