Navigating to the Function Space Diary in Open UI

You can navigate to the Function Space Diary from multiple screens and views in the Hospitality application, which are listed in Table 100.

To navigate to the Function Space Diary from the Functions screen, follow this procedure.

1. Navigate to the Functions screen, then the Function List view.
2. In the Functions list, query for the function.
3. In the Function record, click the link in the Date field.

   The diary displays the property record associated with the function and the selected date.

To navigate to the Function Space Diary from the Quotes screen, follow this procedure.

To navigate to the Function Space Diary from the Quotes screen

1. Navigate to the Quotes screen, then the List view.
2. In the Quotes list, query for the quote record.
3. In the Quote record, click the link in the Name field.
4. In the Function list, select the function, and then click the link in the Date field.

   The diary shows the property record and the selected date.

To navigate to the Function Space Diary from the Property screen, follow this procedure.

To navigate to the Function Space Diary from the Property screen

1. Navigate to the Property screen.
2. In the Properties list, query for the property record.
3. In the Property record, click the link in the property Name field.
4. Perform one of the following actions:
   • Click the Total Availability view tab.
   • Click the Total Group Availability view tab.
   • Click the SR Type Availability view tab.
5. Click Go to Diary.

   The diary shows the property record and the current date.

To navigate to the Function Space Diary from the Property Pricing Admin screen, follow this procedure.

To navigate to the Function Space Diary from the Property Pricing Admin screen

1. Navigate to the Property Pricing Admin screen.
2. In the Properties list, query for the property record.
3. In the Property record, click the link in the Property Name field.
4. Perform one of the following actions:
   • Click the Out of Order view tab, select the record, and then click the link in the Start Date Time field.
   • Click the Unavailable view tab, select the record, and then click the link in the Recurr Start Date field.

     The diary shows the property record and the selected date.

1. Navigate to the Function Space Diary screen.

About the Function Space Diary Time Scale Options in Siebel Open UI

The Time Scale Options in Siebel Open UI Function Space Diary are as follows:

• Day/Day-Part. Displays the diary views with the time axis for each day divided into the various day parts, such as morning, lunch, afternoon, and evening. Administrators set up the day parts in the Property Administration screen, Day Parts view. For more information about setting up day parts, see Setting Up Property Day Parts.
• Day/Hour. Displays the diary views with the time axis for each day divided into hourly intervals. The Day/Hour view displays 24 hours.
• Month/Day. Displays the diary views with the time axis divided into 30 days.
• Month/Day-of-Week/Day Part. Displays the diary views with the time axis showing the same day for five consecutive weeks, with each day divided into the various day parts, such as morning, lunch, afternoon, and evening.
• Week/Day. Displays the diary views with the time axis divided into seven consecutive days, starting with the day on which the specified start date falls.
• Week/Day/Day Part. Displays the diary views with the time axis divided into seven consecutive days, starting with the day on which the specified start date falls. Each day shows the various day parts, such as morning, lunch, afternoon, and evening.
