Retention Lock Overview

As a General Contractor, you can lock the retention on subcontracts. The system displays the contract settings on the Contract Maintenance page.

When the current period retention is unlocked, Subcontractors can adjust the amount of retention held for the current period billing.

Use the Subcontract cannot modify retention setting to prevent Subcontractors from modifying retention when entering an invoice.
