The Profile Update Messages functionality is available from PTS to OPERA with the following license codes:

Purpose

This message serves to update the player profile in OPERA and PTS whenever changes occur in either system. Only profiles with a player ID in OPERA will be uploaded to the PTS when changed. PTS in return will only send changes to those profiles that have been built in OPERA as well. PTS will store the OPERA profile ID, which has been transmitted formerly in either profile lookup or enrollment.

OPERA can also be configured to automatically send every new profile out to the PTS. In this case the PTS will create the profile and return the player ID for OPERA to create a membership record.

OPERA Requirements

To avoid mismatches of profiles between OPERA and PTS, once the Gaming license code has been activated, the membership type designated for the PTS cannot be entered manually from the membership tab anymore, but has to be invoked via enrollment or lookup.

If the Gaming license is active and a player ID exists for the profile, a new tab 'Gaming' will be displayed.

UpdateProfile (OPERA to PTS and PTS to OPERA)

Either system may send an UpdateProfileRequest message to the other including complete details of the profile to be updated. The responding system should return an UpdateProfileResponse message indicating the success or failure of the update.

NewProfile (OPERA to PTS and PTS to OPERA)

Either system may send a NewProfileRequest message if it is desired that all profiles are automatically enrolled in the other system. The responding system returns a NewProfileResponse message that includes the external identifier used to link the profile between the two systems.
