EnterpriseTrack provides you with a global search feature to allow you to perform a quick search for any of the major components within the system. You can use this feature to search for ideas, proposals, charters, projects, documents, tools etc.
To begin the search, click the Advanced Search button in the Top Navigational bar and select one of the menu items. You will be taken to an Apply Filters page for that component. Search details for each of the components are given below:
Ideas
In the Ideas Filter page, enter the search criteria and click the Search button.
You can view the filters that are currently in effect by selecting Show Current Search Criteria link.
Some of the fields that you can filter ideas by are: Status, Name of Idea Owner (or Assignee), the various units in the organizational hierarchy and date on which idea was created.
Proposals
In the Proposals Filter page, enter the search criteria and click the Search button.
You can view the filters that are currently in effect by selecting Show Current Search Criteria link
Some of the fields that you can filter proposals by are: Initiative, Proposal Name/ID, Status, Keyword, who the proposal was created by or associated with the Functional area in which the proposal is located, the various units in the organizational hierarchy and the date on which proposal was submitted.
In installations with multiple initiatives on the same system, you can also filter by Initiative.
Projects
In the Project Filter page, enter the search criteria and click the Search button.
You can view the filters that are currently in effect by selecting Show Current Search Criteria link.
Some of the fields that you can filter projects by are: Keywords (check all fields in which to search for keyword), Project Name, Status, Phase, Project association, the various units in the organizational hierarchy and the various roles for the associated initiative.
In installations with multiple initiatives on the same system, you can also filter by Initiative.
Programs
In the Program Filter page, enter the search criteria and click the Search button.
Some of the fields that you can filter programs by are: Program name, Programs with project name, Program Manager, Custom fields.
Global Documents
In the Global Document List Filter page, enter the search criteria and click the Search button.
You can view the filters that are currently in effect by selecting Show Current Search Criteria link.
Some of the fields that you can filter documents by are: Initiative, Name, document type, search string, and location.
Global Tool Templates
In the Adjust Filters for Tool Template List page, enter the search criteria and click the Search button. You can view the filters that are currently in effect by selecting Show Current Search Criteria link.
Some of the fields that you can filter tools by are: Initiative, Name, document type, search string, and location.
Resources
In the Resource Listing Filter page, enter the search criteria and click the Search button.
You can view the filters that are currently in effect by selecting Show Current Search Criteria link.
Some of the fields that you can filter tools by are: Associated Initiative, Name, Title, Manager, work location and the various units in the organizational hierarchy.
