This chapter provides examples of the preconfigured vendor parameter and field mapping values for the Universal Connector using third-party software. Viewing Parameter and Field Mapping Values for Universal Connector

Universal Connector definitions are configured as vendor parameters in the Administration - Data Quality screen, Third Party Administration view. Use the following procedure to access and view preconfigured vendor parameters.

To view preconfigured vendor parameters

Navigate to the Administration - Data Quality screen, then the Third Party Administration view.
In the Vendor list, select the record with, for example, the name Informatica Identity Resolution.
Click the Vendor Parameter view tab.
The vendor parameters are displayed in the Vendor Parameters list. You must not reconfigure the parameter settings.

The field mappings from vendor fields to Siebel application fields are configured in field mapping parameters in the Administration - Data Quality screen, Third Party Administration view. There are field mappings for each of the supported business components and operations. Use the following procedure to access and view preconfigured field mappings.

To view preconfigured field mappings

Navigate to the Administration - Data Quality screen, then the Third Party Administration view.
In the Vendor List, select the record with, for example, the name Informatica Identity Resolution.
Click the BC Vendor Field Mapping view tab.
In the BC Operation list, select the record for the required business component and operation.
The field mappings are displayed in the Field Mapping list.

Field Mappings for Business Component - CUT Address

The following table shows the data matching field mappings for the CUT Address business component and DeDuplication operation. In your Siebel application, you must manually add these field mappings if you want to configure deduplication against multiple addresses, which is supported only by Oracle Data Quality Matching Server. For more information, see Configuring Deduplication Against Multiple Addresses.

Note: For Siebel Industry Applications, the CUT Address business component is used instead of the Business Address business component.
